What you’ll need:

All you need is a long ruler, a large utility knife, a pencil, and pliers, and you’re ready to start your DIY!

  • Pliers: to help grip the floorboards with cutting to desired length.
  • Pencil: marks where to cut.
  • A large utility knife: to cut the floorboards to desired length.
  • A long ruler/square ruler: to measure the pieces.

・If the cold snap causes the floor to shrink slightly, you can push the floor flush against the wall.

・It is recommended to use edge strips for partial paving to prevent the boundaries from being displaced due to trampling.

Cutting method

Edge strip installation

If the flooring is only installed in specific areas, please place the edge strip at the junction between the original floor and the QuickFit Vinyl Flooring after the installation is completed.

How to cut and paste edge strips

  1. Measure the desired size, mark it with a pencil, and then use a utility knife to make initial cuts along the markings.
  2. Snap the boards along the cutting marks, or use pliers to pry apart the boards.
  3. After cutting to the required length, apply double-sided tape on the back for added stability.
  4. Apply the adhesive on the area in contact with the floor, and press firmly to ensure it sticks tightly.

If the edge strip is installed at the doorway, ensure that the door gap is at least 0.47in high.

  • When purchasing in bulk, there may be some variation in color between batches, this is normal.
  • After receiving the goods, please confirm whether there is any damage within 7 days of receiving your order. Orders older than 7 days will not be accepted.
  • The 7-day period is not a trial period. Once a product has been opened, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
