  • A large utility knife: to cut the floorboards to desired length.
  • A long ruler/square ruler: to measure the pieces.

・If the cold snap causes the floor to shrink slightly, you can push the floor flush against the wall.

・It is recommended to use edge strips for partial paving to prevent the boundaries from being displaced due to trampling.

How to cut and paste edge strips

  1. Measure the desired size, mark it with a pencil, and then use a utility knife to make initial cuts along the markings.
  2. Follow the cutting marks, use the edge of a table to snap the boards or use pliers pry the boards.
  3. After cutting to the required length, apply adhesive on the area in contact with the floor and ground, and stick it tightly (you can apply it in small spots to avoid glue overflow).
